Photo Real Vector







IM DONE!

So, for this project we had to take a photo that we shot and vector half of it to look photo real, but leave the other half as the original photo. This took SOOOOOO LONG! About 35 hours over the course of one week. I am pretty happy with it since it impressed the prof, so hopefully that means I got an A.
First pic is the original

the second pic is the version that is half vectored (the final) and the third is just the vectored half without the original pic. Hopefully they show up in that order, but blogger kinda sucks about uploading photos with text so hopefully you can distinguish which is which

light bulb vector



So... vectoring shiny things suck. I did some swapping programs back and forth from Illustrator to photoshop to make this work like the prof wanted it to look (photo real) even though I personally like it before I used the smudge tool to bring the shades together, but here they are

first commissioned work



So, the delta chi fraternity called me up after hearing that I do vector work and wanted me to do their spring 10' rush shirts. Super excited just to have something artsy on my resume. I am not sure what the quote on the back means other than I think it is from the Wu Tang Clan, but hey, work is work.
